    Unresponsive commands on Flash videos

    Hi everyone,
I am using Firefox 3.6.3 on Ubuntu 10.04. I am experiencing a weird problem on Flash-based videos. I can see videos normally, but if I want to change volume level of if I try to choose another point of the video, I can't do that. Simply, the video goes on as if I wasn't do anything. I have installed Adobe Flash player plugin.
Can anyone help me, please? Thanks very much in advance. Stefano

If you have a 64 bit operating system you can do the following:

    Code:
    sudo gedit /usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/i386/linux/npviewer
Add this before the last line of text

    Code:
    export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1
    save and restart firefox.

What would I do for 32 bit? I sometimes have a bug like this, but I suspect it's mostly because I leave firefox running for days on end and it hogs memory.

You could try the same thing, all it is doing is setting an environment varaiable. The website I found it on said it was for 64 bit.

From what you are saying though, I would simply restart firefox first.
