    Cant install Ubuntu 10.04

    Very Very New to this.

    Every time I try to install Ubuntu 10.04 I get an error that says permission denyed and gives me a link to a log file. I am trying to load it inside of windows. I tried to boot it from the disk but it also gives me an error. Just need some help fast.

    did you change the boot option in bios to boot from cd? If you install from windows I think you need something like unetbootin or something like that. Booting from cd should work on anything in the last 10 years.

    Could you post exact error message here? Post your machine's specs too.
