Skype + RTX Dualphone: Is this possible on Linux?
I use Skype a lot at work, and use the RTX "Dualphone" to speak.
This connects to the USB port for voice in/out and provide the basic telephony services. It communicates with Skype on Windows making the two appear as fully integrated.
a) Has anyone tried to use this on Linux? - (b) is it possible with Wine?
- and does both Skype and Dualphone then have to run with Wine?
b) .. how difficult would it be to write a driver for the interface - I can get some definitions about the Dualphone that is not readily available if there is some scripting language e.g. for H.323 or SIP on USB.
Any comments will be appreciated.
