[SOLVED] No title bars on anything I open?
Hello to everyone. I'm still a noob to all of this but learning. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 and I installed Compiz Fusion but now the only thing I can open that has a title bar that I can move around is Google Chrome, everything else I open, even firefox, has no title bar and I cant move the boxes around the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?? any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you install the video drivers already?

I'm probly way off base... but are you opening things in full-screen mode?
Open something, like Firefox, and hit F11.Jay

MikeTbob and Jayd512
First let me thank the both of you for responding to my problem.
I have since solved the problem, it seems that it was a compiz or emerald problem. When I opened the terminal and typed: metacity --replace, everything went back to normal. I just had to redo some of the settings in Compiz to get it working the way I like.
I'm not sure how to put this thread so it says (Solved), maybe someone can explain that to me?
Again, thanks soooooo much for helping

You can mark your own thread Solved through option available in Thread Tools drop down list.
Check Links bar at the top of each thread. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
