Further to earlier post regarding the freeze up, when upgrading to 10.4.
I managed to sort mine by using an earlier kernel than the one that came with the upgrade. However, I just installed 10.4 on my netbook and it shows the same signs of freezing up - although not if I'm in live mode.
Now, this was a clean install so there is no alternative kernel, so can I download an earlier version, have it installed and then have it as an option in the 'Start up manager' application?
