    Post Unable to Login on to PC Need Help

    When tried to login from login screen it gives a message "Permission Denied" for all users including Root.So i tried it from recovery mode im able to login as root but has no permission to change any thing.
    Im using Linux mint 8 helena Please help..

    I had troulble with Helena, too, I kicked her to the curb!

    Why not join the LinuxMint Forum?

    I would say try the new PCLOS or Salix -- they may have an alternative you like more.
