Question Prompted for key-ring password on login

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid -- I upgraded from Ubuntu 9.10 which also had kubuntu desktop installed.

After entering my username and password in the user login screen, I'm prompted for my key-ring password even though my key-ring password and my user login password are the same. How can I have key-ring password prompt automatically use the password entered at user login?

Are you using auto-login... if you are, you will be prompted for the keyring password
If you disable auto-login, you wont be prompted but you'll still have to log in

If you want both... the easiest way is to leave the keyring password blank when you first set up your wireless network.

Either delete your wireless settings in nm-connection-editor then re-enter them and when prompted for the keyring password... leave it blank... click OK... click "use unsafe storage".

or see here (add http to the beginning):

Right click your (internet) network icon and go into edit connection. Tick "Available to all users".

You shouldn't be asked for keyring again.
