    Infrared receiver

    Can someone please point me in the direction of an InfraRed receiver that I can connect to my ASUS motherboard?
    The plan is to use it in conjunction with Ubuntu and XBMC.
    Any shop/online source/manufacturer (in the UK or Europe preferred.)

    i bought a medion X10 that works through some kind of wireless. it's exactly this one: . works like a charm with ircd and xbmc on a xubuntu 9.10. unfortunatly these ones are quite hard to find. when I finally found some, I bought 5 ones on the fly just to be safe for the next few years. it is quite unexpensive one (had one for 35€) respectively to a harmony one or so.
