    Please explain in detail what you mean by "dial part is dead".
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    yes the number pad its non active while i am IN the system, but on login screen its working ...

    Assuming that you are running a GUI such as Gnome and the login screen is also graphically oriented, then the problem is in the configuration settings (preferences) of your desktop environment.

    I got them back from Keyboard -> Mouse Tab -> disable the controls from keyboard ...
