    [SOLVED] cant install nivida grafics driver & flash-player

    Having tried many diffident approaches to the download and install nivida grafics drivers and flash-players I give up :P

    I searched through the forum and nothing seemed to work

    So I have deleted all of the failed downloads and I am asking you guys for help

    Nvidia first of all.

    Go to System > Administration > Hardware Drivers and you should see the driver listed there. Enable it and it will be downloaded and installed. You will need your password and to reboot after installation.

    Now Flash.

    Go to System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager and search for ubuntu-restricted-extras. Install this and you will get Flash, the MS Core Fonts, Java and a few other extra bits and pieces.
