    iBook Display Troubles

I've been working on getting Linux on this iBook I have.

    It's running fine HOWEVER
The screen is split up in a rather strange way.

I've drawn a diagram, but I can't post it due to the fact I haven't made 15 posts yet.

I have a full working desktop in the top left.
About 2 inches of the right are just black, and I can't move my mouse over it.
Under the address bar, there is a mysterious white line, that extends into the black.
Under that, there is the top 2 inches of my desktop being shown again...

    Any help?

What is the video chip set in it? If nVidia, try getting the appropriate proprietary nVidia driver from the nVidia web site.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    Post the output of this
    Code:
    lspci | grep -i vga
Check if there is any option for Graphics Card driver available in System - Administration - Hardware Drivers.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
