Hello and welcome to the forums!

    Probably about 100%
It will most likely be the 32-bit version
Yes, it should, although it might be slow
Most drivers are included within the kernel
I believe Firefox is still the default
    Yes, it is
Rhythmbox, OpenOffice, not sure on AV app - maybe none

Hopefully, someone will jump in here with a correction if I got any of them wrong.

Best of luck to you, and we hope you'll have fun with it!

    Ok Ozar, I'll jump in.

Video player will be the Movie Player.
When you try to play a audio/video file that is using a non-open source format, you will be prompted to download and install the proper codec so it can play the file.
RhythmBox is a very good song manager and will play your audio files just fine.

    As for an anti-virus app?
Nope! None included. This is due to Linux being more secure and less vulnerable to viruses and malware. I have an open source anti-virus installed so that any email I forward to Windows users is scanned. Don't want to infect them.

Firefox is the included browser along with Empathy instant messenger.
Brasero Cd/DVD burner is also included as well as F-Spot photo manager.

You should find that all the included software is enough for a basic user.
I've also heard that users requesting a free Cd get several so they can pass them out to their friends. Be advised that it may take some time before you receive the Cd.
    But you will get it.

As Ozar said, it will boot and run live but considering your specs, it may run a bit slow.
More Ram would be a big help.

    Good luck and enjoy!!!
