canot see wireless from 1 machine
I downloaded the latest Ubuntu.
Installed fine on my Acer one and I can connect to my BThomehub without any issues.
Installed fine on my Medion, however I can see everyone elses wireless networks with this PC but not mine, even though I can connect fine with me little Acer one
I suspect its something to do with the drivers and the WPA/security aspect having issues but its only a guess.
Any ideas?

as this is community driven, getting an answer and coming to the solution in less than 1 hour is outside of the norm, i don't think you should be so impatient
you should not have to be stuck to microsoft, please start here http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/wir...tart-here.html

Ok I am really stuck here now I know you linux lot hate moaners, specially those from windows but I cannot get my head round this.
Ive read the wireless read from above but cannot find an answer
My Acer Laptop one sees the Bthomehub 2 fine, connects without an issue.
By my other desktop PC with Ubuntu cannot see the BThomehub. It cansee all the other wireless networks.
I can plug the desktop PC into router with network lead and I am on, but I need the desktop to be further away so wireless is required.
But for some really annoying reason Ubuntu cannot see from this desktop WHY?
I have updated it tried disable all ssecurity etc, turned of WPA and WEP to test.
I am at a loss here.
