    Ubuntu Login Trouble

    Today I downloaded a ppc cd image of 10.04 Ubuntu. I put the cd into my 2002 iBook and clicked on the installer. The entire install took approximately nine hours. When the install was complete, I restarted the computer and attempted to log in with the password and user name I had entered earlier. After I entered the password, the login box changed and asked me for my "(current) UNIX password" so i can change the password for this user. I have no idea why this is occurring or what I should enter for this password.

    If someone could help me get past this, that'd be great! Thanks!

    After a few restarts and some trial and error, I have bypassed this problem. Thanks to those of you who read this thread.
