    Network Printing

    Hi All,

I'm having a strange problem with my networked printer.

My computer is hard wired to printer (Ubuntu 10.04), another Ubuntu machine auto detects it fine but when I try to manually add a printer through Add -> Network Printing -> windows printing via SAMBA shares

I see my workgroup, I also see my computer that is hard wired but when I click on the plus sign next to it, the printer isn't listed (but it's obviously shared since auto detect shows it).

The only reason this is a problem is because I'm trying to show a friend how to manually add a network printer without knowing all the IP info and such (by browsing) but it's not being seen there so I'm a bit confused
