    How to screenshoot copy/paste kernel errors

    OS Ubuntu 10.04
    Error occurred as system was attempting to hibernate
    Some error codes appeared
    Then I was returned to desktop environment

    Question: Want to know how to copy the error to post in this forum

    You can check in /var/log/messages, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the output of dmesg command will sometimes give useful info.
