What type of wireless device are you looking at, infrared, bluetooth, other RF w/ dongle? Any that plug in via USB should look like a USB keyboard to the system, which Linux will handle just fine. How have you been determining if they will run with Linux or not?

Battery was dead on my mouse
Hi and thanks for the help. I'm using an infra-red mouse by microsoft. Replaced the battery and now it's working. Looks like even though they don't have drivers specifically for them, that most wireless mouses will work to some extent in linux. Thanks again.

I was using one from Microsoft too, which worked well enough but after awhile I noticed my system started lagging real bad. So I removed the Wireless mouse and everything is back to normal. I'd post the specs if I could find the darn thing.
EDIT: I found the dongle and plugged it in, here is the specs for it.
Code:Bus 001 Device 006: ID 045e:00e1 Microsoft Corp. Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 Reciever

I've been using a Logitech wireless (IR) trackball for years. Never had any problem with it at all. You can always get a PS/2<->USB mouse and/or keyboard adapter, which works with older distributions and hardware that don't know about USB mice and keyboards. I have those also, and they seem to work just fine.
