I'm not sure what you mean. Do you have a Desktop link (launcher) on your installed Ubuntu Desktop that you want to keep when you remaster??

What language do you want to remove and where is it?

I don't think I can help you with this. I don't use Ubuntu myself. In order to change the Try Ubuntu and Install Ubuntu buttons, you would need to know where the scripts are that create these pages. On some distributions with a Desktop Link to click to install, you can right click the install icon to find the location of the files/scripts. Don't know if that will work with Ubuntu? I would try this with the install CD.

    Features

    *
Create bootable LiveCD with predefined languages based on original Ubuntu/Kubuntu live CD using wizard with GUI
    *
Build live CD with special features using scripts. It is possible to customize root filesystem (for example install/remove packages), ISO contents (add/remove docs, change names) and initrd (add modules to boot, change boot sequence)
    UCK - Ubuntu Customization Kit

Hope that is what you are looking for and trying to do. You will have to remaster the live cd of Ubuntu
