    I am running Lucid Linux 10.04 on a DELL, Precision M6400. I urgently need to find a USB Headphone & Microphone combo for VOIP. Can anyone suggest a direction here?

    Myself, I'd use a Bluetooth headset for VOIP/Skype. I've had good results with that. I have a Plantronics headset that works great with every Linux system I have, as well as my Android (Linux) phone.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
