    having some problems with wireless

    Im having some problems with the wireless too i have an Acer Aspire 5050 laptop with the latest version of ubuntu on it , i have a wireless modem and every time i go to connect to the internet the wireless connections keep conflicting againts each other and then i get disconnect every 30 mins and when i try to connect again it just keeps disconnecting, at first when i installed ubuntu it couldnt find the wireless network until i created one and now it seems to find all connects around the area but when i go to connect to mine it just keeps connecting and Disconnecting
    (hope that made sense)

    Can anyone help.

    You might consider changing your Wireless router to a different channel, it might help.

    Well, it's different for the many brand models. On some, you just go to
    http://192.168.2.1
    http://192.168.1.254
    You might try looking at the router itself and see if it has any instructions, other than that you can try looking up the make/model numbers.
