Unhappy Sorry but i need help....

so how about I installed DOCKY, now i would like to copy or move programs like google chrome to it or the desktop for that matter but i have no clue how to do that.
I know in Windows you just drag and drop, this does not seem to work with Ubuntu though....

Any help would be great.... Thank you
and yes I understand that comparing Ubuntu to windows is like comparing planes to cars
and yes i know that the "desktop" is probably not called that but i have been a windows user for 15 years and i am sick of Bill Gates so i switched.....

    AGAIN thanks for the help

It's still called a desktop. Hard to escape from that metaphor.

I don't use Docky, but AFAIK it should support drag'n'drop. Avant Window Navigator is a similar option which also should support drag'n'drop.

I'm not familiar with docky, but if you cant drag and drop, try cut or copy and paste.
