    CDRom not mounting after clicked 'Do Nothing' option.

    I have been burning a few CDs. When I inserted the blank CD I was queried what to set the default action as, and I selected 'Do Nothing'. The CDRom drive now does not attempt to read or mount anything inserted into it. It shows up in Nautilus under 'Computer', but does not appear to be mounted properly otherwise. Please help!

    I am using Ubuntu 10.04 desktop.

    You should be able to go to: System -> Preferences -> File Management -> Media

    ...and set your desired preferences there.

    Unfortunately System -> Preferences -> File Management -> Media doesn't seem to exist...

    It's been a while since I last installed Ubuntu so their panel menus might be different from my own, but you should also be able to get to it within Nautilus by going to:

    Edit -> Preferences -> Media

    OK, found that and tweaked it but it hasn't solved the problems.
