Trouble installing gtk2x theme
I was trying to install a gtk2x theme I got from gnome-look.com, and I got the file to extract the folder from, which I did. Once I tried to install it, I went into the terminal and:
sudo cp -r /home/myname/Desktop/aero /usr/share/themes
Just to check, i did an ls in the destination folder, and it was there, but it wouldn't show up in the Appearances settings. FYI: I'm in Mint 9 rather then 10.04.
Am I doing something wrong? I've installed my other themes this way, and they worked.

I'm not sure about how Gnome is setup under Mint, but on most Gnome desktops, you can simply drag and drop the new theme onto the Appearance Preferences window. You can usually find that window by going to the System menu, choosing Preferences, and then clicking on the Appearance menu option.
