How to disable the "Ubuntu Keyring" for ever?
I am very tired of those service. lease, let me tell how o disable it. I tried to uninstall, but i is impossible, ha dependencies in all Gnome environment.

Take a look in: System / Preferences / Startup Applications
I believe you can disable it there.
Edit: oops... just noticed you said "Ubuntu Keyring". I don't run Ubuntu and don't know if that's the same thing as Gnome Keyring. Also, I'm thinking that Gnome might not start if you disable some of the options under Startup Applications.Last edited by oz; 08-17-2010 at 10:31 PM.

Remove all files stored in /home/user_id/.gnome2/keyrings folder. On reboot, a dialog will appear for WEP/WAP key password, if any and keyring password. Leave Keyring password key empty and accept confirmation.
It unsafe but keyring annoys me too.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
