This is what I use before.

Now I just play the youtube video and after it is fully loaded, i go to

Computer -> File System -> Tmp -> rename the flash file and add .flv.

Yep, the Video DownloadHelper suggested by nujinini is very, very good and easy to use. Just right-click on a free space on the website once the video has started playing, mouse-over the "DownloadHelper" entry so its menu pops up, then mouse-over "Media", and select the file you want to save.

Alternatively you just click on the arrow/triangle next to DownloadHelper's icon right below the menu bar, and then select the video you want to save from there.
