    Installing gDesklets Mint 9

    I was trying to start using gDesklets on my Mint 9 computer, and I first used Synaptic to install it. Once it was done, it showed up in the menu as normal, when I tried to launch it, it started to load, then nothing happened. Later, I used:

    sudo aptitude install gdesklets gdesklets-data

    This worked as well, but when I go to Applications>gDesklets, it starts to load, and nothing happens still.
    Is there anything I can do?

    Execute gdesklets command in Terminal and post error message here, if any.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
