    Gstreamer issues

I'm having some GStreamer issues apparently, that I haven't been able to solve on my own, so I'm hoping for some help...

Banshee gives fatal error, while songbird just works very slow.... below are some "traces" from running in terminal attached as txt files.

Hope someone can help on my way, would really like to have banshee working again.

I'm running Lucid with all updates, installed on a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad. As far as I recall the problems starting after using the getdeb respository (I know!), but I've uninstalled all packages again, and tried to reinstall gstreamer, but to avail.

    Cheers

    Hi,
when you uninstall packages have you use "--purge" option?

Anyway, when a package is removed (even using --purge), configuration files are not eliminated entirely sometimes.

    Regards
