HELP!!! Newbie here.... regarding Qemulator and Qemu launcher...
Hello,
I am a newbie to the world of Linux and embedded development enthusiast.
I just started out with developing C programs on Debian driven ARM9 processor.
I want to setup the ARM environment using Qemulator on my Ubuntu OS (running on VMware).
I have got initrd for Debian Etch, a kernel too and a 5GB hard disk image has been created based on the instructions in the following link.
wxx.aurel32.net/info/debian_arm_qemu.php
(wxx = www)
As I reach the command for the starting the installation.
I got an error: Segmentation Fault
One method is using command line as suggested in the above link.
Otherwise, I would prefer the Qemu launcher GUI.
In the GUI I ave entered the fields for the hard disk image, kernel image and initrd image. The kernel command line field is still empty as I have no clue as to what to do with it.
Guys,
Guide me here in successfully setting this up. Also, direct me to some good, lucid tutorial on Q emulator/launcher.
Thanx, in advance..
