How to un-install Lubuntu
I am using Lubutnu as part of my university project . I want to make use of older hardware like PIII 256 ram .
I have installed Lubuntu dual boot with XP .
Waht does Lubuntu do is it makes a hidden partition inside the hard disk so i cant access the installation files .
I am not going to uninstall Lubuntu rather I am looking to know how can it be done .
An how can i get that HD space back .
I need your help

Did you use the wubi installer? If so, then I think it will be as simple as using Add / Remove Programs in Windows. I have never used wubi so I don't know for sure.
If you did a "real dual boot" then the simplest way is probably to delete the lubuntu partition and use something like parted magic to to allocate the free space and rewrite the windows boot loader.
I don't use Windows at home so I stand ready to be corrected. If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Insn't there a uninstaller inside the Lubuntu folder in the programs section of windows xp? (on a wubi install)
left click start>explore. Look for Lubuntu folder in programs. Look inside for uninstall icon. Click it.Linux Registered User # 475019

Boot live cd of Lubuntu. Open Gparted. Delete Lubuntu partition. When done resize Windows Partition to claim back space.
Windows MBR will need to be reinstalled using a Windows Install disk using Fxmbr command or Supergrubdisk Iso to fix windows mbr if xp disk is not available. Parted magic Iso can also be used to perform all above steps in one session as gparted and supergurbdisk is included in Parted Magic Current Iso.Linux Registered User # 475019

... can't you restore MBR from inside running Windows? I've vague memories about fdisk /mbr or similar command.
