nvidia-settings for stereo vision
Hi,
I am using a Christie projector and ubuntu 7.10 to create stereoscopic vision.
However, the shutter glasses are not syncing correctly with my qaud_buffered_stereo.
I am thinking this is because I had to set the refresh rate of my xorg.conf file myself (at 100Hz)
in nvidia-settings
however, the refresh rate is different when i look in
displayconfig-gtk
than what I set it to be in 'nvidia-settings'
100Hz does not normally appear as an option under nvidia-settings, I had to manually add it to the xorg.conf file, because I need atleast 100Hz or higher for stereoscopic vision to work.
So, I am wondering if this discrepancy is the reason why the shutter glasses are not syncing properly with the stereoscopic vision. However when I type
nvidia-settings -q RefreshRate, I do get back that the projector is running at 100Hz.
Does anyone have any ideas why my shutter glasses are not syncing correctly with our display, or if perhaps the screen is not really refreshing at 100 Hz?
