    EHDD help

    a couple weeks ago i installed Ubuntu netbook edition. I have 2 external hard drives, the one is a 160gig WD drive, the OS reads this drive with no issues at all... i plug in and reads instantly. I also have a 500gig WD EHDD, it had the smart VMware on it, and i uninstalled the smart VMware and at first i didn't have an issue, plugged it.. it read the drive and i was good... now i haven't plugged this drive in, in a couple weeks.. and i went to plug it in tonight, and i got nothing at all.. i plugged in my smaller drive.. bam.. no issues.. read it fine.. any ideas what could be going on here? what i can do to make this work again? thank you much.

    Plug-in drive and execute this in Terminal :
    Code:
    tail -s 3 -f /var/log/messages
    Post output here.
