    Networking Driver port from Ubuntu to Mac OSX

    I booted ubuntu and the included drivers worked beautifully for my Atheros AR8131 PCI Ethernet card on my laptop.

    I have an OSX Snow Leopard dual boot setup and my ethernet card does not work. I was wondering if, because OSX is loosely linux based, the network drivers could somehow be loaded into my Snow Leopard install.

    Im asking because currently, here is no Atheros AR8131 kext that I know of.

    Any input appreciated.

    OS X is not Linux based, it may have something in common with BSD. I do not think it's enough for BSD drivers to build under OS X.
    Start looking at Darwin project ...
