How to install an .exe file
Hey, I'm really new to Linux and am completely lost. First off I want to say that I run Ubuntu...if that makes any difference. Anyway, I'm trying to use Cheat Engine 5.6.1 but I can't figure out how to install it. Its file name is called CheatEngine561.exe and I need to install it so I can use it. Thanks for the help

Hello, and welcome to the forums!

Linux doesn't run .exe files natively but you can run some Windows apps with Wine:
WineHQ - Run Windows applications on Linux, BSD, Solaris and Mac OS X
You can check for your Windows apps in their apps database to see if they've been reported to work under Wine:
WineHQ - Wine Application Database
...also, we have a Wine Forum if you should have any questions directly related to Wine:
Wine - Linux Forumsoz
