Wireless cards with rtl8180l chips not working on Maverick
This is a fact I have to share with you. I've tried it on liveCD version, and also have tried to fix the problem, but nothing worked. I even installed ndiswrapper, but the Windows drivers didn't solve the problem:
- the system sees the card (lspci)
- the card doesn't see any wireless network (iwlist)
- no command line manipulation helps (iwconfig, ifconfig)
Conclusion: the network manager is out of order. I have no clue for possible solutions. If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:

Well, I've added a topic. Still I think there's an error with Maverick. I don't hope for this to be found (bad experiences with such kind of bugs on Linux) a solution. I'm just informing the other users to skip Maverick, since it's crappy, at least for those with Realtek 8180L wireless cards.
