    I am a Linux newbie.....

    I downloaded RipperX and was using it to rip and encode (MP3) an audio CD. After 2 hours and 20 minutes it was still not done with the first CD so I aborted the operation. Any one have a clue as to what I may be doing wrong?? It shouldn't take that long to rip a CD.
