    Grub problem

    Hi everyone,
I'm using HP Compaq 6715s and have installed both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10 on diffrent partitions. Thanks to grub i can choose which one to load. But today i tried to install HP QuickWeb on my laptop and when I tried to reboot the system it gave me following error:
    unknown filesystem
    grub rescue>
I have searched for available commands for grub command line, but by typing all of them it gives me always the same error:
    unknown command
I even tried to boot windows from CD, same error unfortunatelly.
Any ideas how I might solve this problem?
    Thank you in advance.

Never heard of HP QuickWeb. Googled and got a lot of sites. Check this one for someone who says he has windows 7, Ubuntu and QuickWeb running. Explains it. He says QuickWeb boots directly from BIOS. This is a forum site and you need to scroll about halfway down the page for a user named toesterdahl. Looks like a pretty detailed explanation. I would suggest you go to the main HP Quick-Web site and read a little about it if you haven't.
