Problem with connecting to a nettwork-Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi
Hi
I'm a newbie here and also a newbie with linux - got it for 3 or 4 days, got sick of W$ Vista (how could I put up working on Vista for about a year - I don't know...).
Anyway - I'm using HP TX1300 with Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapter, I managed to install drivers and stuff, and get the wireless network working. I had to shut down my computer and after reboot I cannot connect to wireless network. System "sees" the network, but cannot connect. I checked if the chosen security standards are matching those set on my router.
I hope someone responds soon.
Thanks in advance.
(sorry if I made some mistakes in this post, i'm actually from Poland)

I noticed, that if after boot the wireless is named "eth1" (ethernet connection has name "eth0") then it works, but if it's loaded as "wlan0" then it cannot connect to the network. WLAN passkey is correct, as well as the security settings.Last edited by fasolmateusz; 10-30-2010 at 03:18 PM. Reason: Acquired new data
