Wacom on Linux Questions
Hi Guys
Sorry to be a pain, I'm relatively new to Linux (well, using it!) and I'm having some issues getting my wacom tablets working under Ubuntu 10.04LTS. (64bit)
I have two Wacom digitizers, Graphire et-0405-r (serial) and a Pen partner US1212R also a serial.
I'm hoping to get the Graphire working first if possible.
On reading a fair bit of literature I've come across the pre-installed driver, and edited via a this page :
help.ubuntu.com/community/Wacom
Which i assume is a setup modification.
I've downloaded the patch mentioned here:
codelab.wordpress.com/2010/02/21/wacom-hacking/]Wacom Hacking Code Laboratorium
but can't figure out how to implement it because i'm so new to Linux.
I've apt-get GIMP and all the updates but I'm not sure where I should be putting this patch to and how.
am i even in the right direction? lol!
Many thanks in advance!
Regards,
Sophie.
