    [SOLVED] Ubuntu 9.1.0 & 9.0.4 Customization Help Required ???

    hi all there !!


    Can anyone guide me how i can customize Ubuntu 9.1.0 or 9.0.4. Coz during installation it did not give any "Customize Now" Option ?

    Or if suitable then guide me pls to some other version of Ubuntu that offer me to Customized at installation time !!!

    You don't really need to shout! We can hear/read you!

    You don't "customize" Ubuntu when you install it. You do that afterward, as each user can have their own view of the system as they wish. My suggestion is to visit the Ubuntu web site (Ubuntu homepage | Ubuntu) for help and documentation on doing what you want.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    As Rubberman said, the only limits to what you can change, are time, patience and imagination. There are many versions of Ubuntu put there already customised to one degree or another. From the official (XUbuntu, Kubuntu etc) to the famous (Linux Mint and Crunch Bang) to the less well known such as Excelixis.
