Best way to image 40 systems

I need to build a master image and duplicate that image on 40 systems. What is the best way to do this? I was using dd but the image was made on a 2TB drive and the dd image was, well 2TB!

How can I make an image of just the data and partition info?

I personally like FSArchiver for system imaging/archiving:

    FSArchiver

Also, you can check out Clonezilla to see if it might work well enough for your needs:

I'd check out clonezilla/drbl as it advertises that it can do this
