    Unhappy Run-time Error, Please Help

    I've installed 'Quest RPG' just fine using WINE. But when I try to launch it, I get this error:

    run-time error '339' ;

    Component 'CSWSK32.OCX' or one of it's dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

    The said file is supposed to be included in the full download, and I've even downloaded that file separately from another site. Re-installing it didn't solve the problem. Is there just really no way to play this game on a Linux machine?

    Hello and Welcome.
    You can try weeding through this Google search, but some of those links look pretty old and mostly for Windows.
    I can't find the game listed at WineHQ but you might have better luck than I did, since I don't know the actual name of the game.

    Thank you I had done the Google search, and came back with nothing useful. And the game is just called 'Quest RPG'. I'm actually surprised no one else seems to have figured this out yet... then again, I guess it's not a very popular game.
