    What download directory is it that you are you trying to access?

    If it's Ubuntu downloads, take a look here:

    Download | Ubuntu

    Alternative downloads | Ubuntu

    If you are looking for the Downloads directory that Firefox downloads to by default, you should find it in your /home folder, or you can create it if it doesn't already exist.

    Hello,

    Maybe you can also try to post the output of:

    Code:
    $ ls /home/username
    It might show us if you already have a Download folder. Just an idea...
