    VirtualBox - Linux Ubuntu

    Hi,

    When you run Ubuntu in VirtualBox, and you click 'install it' where will it install on? Will you lose data or anything else?

    It will installed on those disks you have configured. You can either use the complete disk or just a specific partition. You can also shrink an existing partition.
    In either case you should backup all your data on a second hard drive.

    EDIT: oh, just skipped VirtualBox. If you install Ubuntu within VirtualBox it will just be installed to a file.
