Hello and Welcome!
Can you be more specific, did you install Ubuntu into Windows using the Wubi installer or are you trying to boot a LiveCD or something?/ Tell us a little more about your machine, is it an older machine with low RAM?I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

my system is a litle older it is approximatley two years old igot the download from ubuntu.com i got the desktop version and used the windows downloader
