Port forwarding help please!!
Ok this isn't really a linux question, but this is the only forum i can go to where ppl actually help me, so can someone please help me with portforwarding......ok i have windows vista SP2, and a netgear router wireless N-150 router model WNR 1000v2 i have like followed all guides but the portchecker still says my port is blocked, i have gone to the router and gone to portforwarding and put the service name, the start and end port, and my ipv4 address, which is 10.0.0.102, and saved it, but it still says my port 3174 is closed, is there something im doing wrong, o yea and my firewall is off, and antivirus too, still closed, i am a NOOB!!! lol just need strong help i am trying to port forward so i can use metus delphi 2.8 and please don't post any youtube crap cuz trust me ive used ever tut. and nothing has worked so far please help, your help is greatly appreciated THANKS a BUNCH!!!

Try putting your ipv4 address in the dmz of the router. Some router's firmware, like the 2wire, simply don't port forward even tho they say they do.

On page 4-7 of your online user's manual (cant post the link)
in your router configuration it says to goto the Main Menu->Advanced->Wan Setup.
Select the Default DMZ Server checkbox
enter your IP address
Click apply.

A few words of warning about metus delphi
Many of the downloads are infected.
You say you are a noob yet you are playing with fire.
And finally this is a botnet program that infects other users computers of which I'm not really sure this discussion is allowed here.
I'll leave that decision up to the Mods.
