Access Linux-based PC using Windows RDP?
Hello
I usually access PCs on my LAN using Windows RDP, but one of the PC has only Ubuntu 10.10 installed, and so far I've not been able to access it using my Windows RDP, nor access any other PC from that PC's RDP. Anyone can help me with the steps to accomplish this?
Note: NO firewalls are enabled on the Windows based PCs, nor on the Linux one.

linux doesn't use RDP, so you can't just connect to any machine that way
most people connecting to linux remotely just use SSH for command line or VNC/NX for GUI access
I will add that there are RDP servers for linux, but my personal preference is NX

No firewall isn't a good idea, especially on the windows machine.
A great program is Team Viewer. They have a Windows and a Linux edition. You can remotely control any computer running Team Viewer. I have controlled several Windows PCs from my Ubuntu setup. And it's free.

TeamViewer on Linux! I never paid attention to that, but used it several times to connect to other Windows PC
