Question Worthy nonprofit needs some help!

I'm new here and hope I'm not breaking any rules.

    Hi, guys,

I'm trying to get a new nonprofit launched and am wearing way too many hats!

I'm on VPS.net, with a LAMP installed on Lucid.

Given enough time, I could probably figure this stuff out, but:

I need help—especially if someone can get in there and show me what to do:

    * Clean up my install of nginx
    * Set up a secure subdomain for client records, and subdomains for forums, chat room, archive, and so forth. I can handle the actual installations as I've done these before. But I keep screwing up the virtual host files.
    * Install ISPmanager and Softaculours correctly (apprarently requires IonCube, which is partially installed)
    * Install SQL-Clinic, which seems pretty straight forward, but I can't get it to work
    * Take a look at httpd and config files to make sure I didn't screw them up.
    * Fix my .htaccess in a secure client record area

If I knew what I was doing, I don't think this would take very long. BUT, I don't have time to rise above my advanced beginner status right now.

    ANY help would be appreciated.

    PLEASE HELP! I'm facing deadlines.

If you'd like a copy of our mission statement and so forth to understand what we are about, please do not hesitate to ask.

As long as you keep your postings to Linux system issues, I don't think anyone here has any problem in helping you. Please provide some details about your system(s) with regard to

    1. hardware, such as type + number of cpu's and cores, amount of RAM, disc controllers, disc space + number of discs, etc.
    2. Distribution+version of Linux you are running, plus kernel version.
    3. What virtual machine manager you are using, how many virtual machines you plan on running, and what distribution+version of Linux you plan on using for the virtual servers.
    4. What server software you are going to use.
    5. Information about your network - do your servers need to be accessible from outside the firewall, such as from the internet. What are you using for a firewall and router. How many subnets are you planning. Etc.

The more we know, the better we can help you.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
