Red face Slight problem with desktop

    Hi all,

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my machine, all went well...It found an update straight away for my system and it was the Nvidia driver so i installed.

However the bar at the top & bottom of my desktop is Grey and not Black like it should be,Ive tried applying the "Ambience theme" again in Appearance Preferences but it just stays the same.

I cant post a screenshot because it says i need to have 15 posts ,

    what can i do pls.

Try right clicking on the toolbar and select properties
    Now select the background tab.
There you can choose using the system theme or a solid color.
If you use a solid color make sure to set the transparency to opaque.
