First, there's a difference between and "editor" and an "integrated development environment (IDE)" which is what you seem to be asking about.
Netbeans, Eclipse, Code::Blocks, Anjuta, KDevelop, and a number of others are all perfectly capable IDEs for code development. Netbeans and Eclipse are specifically geared toward Java, however.
I primarily use Eclipse, and there are facilities built in to handle javadocs. You code your documentation into the class files and you can look at them in the "javadocs" view in Eclipse.
Please start separate threads for separate issues. It leads to less confusion. You shouldn't need drivers for headphones. Once you get your sound working the headphone jack should work just fine on its own. What kind of sound card does your system have? Are you sure it isn't just muted? Also while playing videos in Ubuntu, I cant hear the sound. How can I activate sound and install driver for headphones?Registered Linux user #270181
