Desktop Environments will install a lot of other packages too but xorg will install core packages necessary to run X Server only.
    Hello Devil Casper!

I'm going through the same problem as Tkeins. I'm a newbie and recently loaded Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick server, further I loaded KDE also. So while I can run Konquerer from within the KDE, but not the firefox. Further when I try it from console I get the same message 'No Display specified. Please help, it's urgent.

    Thanks in advance
